GREENFIELD WINTER FARE FARMERS MARKET

When: Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010
Where: Greenfield High School,
1 Lenox Avenue, Greenfield, MA
Hours: 10 am to 2 pm
Vendor Set-up: Begins at 8:00 am.
NOTE - Unloading and Parking Logistics for the Market at Greenfield High School have changed. Vendors will be notified of these changes by email.
Vendor/Market Fee: $25 for a 10 X 10 ft Space or $12.50 for a 5 X 10 ft Space
Temporary Health Permit (if applicable): $15
Vendors must bring their own tables. TABLES ARE NOT PROVIDED.
This event is focused on encouraging people to eat locally grown food. Because of this focus, this market will give priority to vendors selling locally grown edible products.
The goal of Winter Fare is to bring people a taste of the great locally grown food that is available year round and to educate people about ways they can incorporate more locally grown foods into their diets all year long.
For this reason, ALL VALUE-ADDED PRODUCTS SOLD AT THE WINTER FARMERS MARKET MUST INCLUDE A PRIMARY INGREDIENT THAT IS LOCALLY GROWN OR RAISED. All vendors selling value-added products must complete the Town of Greenfield "Temporary Health Permit" and return it with the Vendor Application. Address information details are on the Vendor Application form.
We will select Vendors to ensure a diversity of products. Vendors will be selected using the following criteria: geographic location, contribution toward a diverse market and the date of the application.
Vendors with fresh produce only: Print and complete the Vendor Application form and send the application form with payment to the address on the application form.
Vendors with Value-Added products: Print and complete the Vendor Application form and the Town of Greenfield "Temporary Health Permit". Send Application Form and Permit (with any supporting documents required for the Permit) with payment to the address on the application form.
